What’s a book or movie that genuinely scared you?

The Lord of the Flies is a tough read in my opinion. Shows the nature of humans when they go complete savage and lose themselves in a sense. I know there are much more scarier books out there, But this one stuck with me for whatever reason longer than it should have. Just depressing and disheartening, and also very scary on how callous and detached the harm was.
