What’s the best way to deal with negative thoughts?

As corny or cringey as it sounds, staring in a mirror and telling yourself the opposite of the negative thoughts is a great way to alleviate mental pain. Also writing down negative thoughts is also another great way to deal with negative thoughts. Therapy is also another way, although this doesn’t work for anyone since therapy means something different for everybody, therefore there is only so much one can do depending on how private an individual is.
