Leading is something that should be simple in theory, but in reality, it is a lot more than people bargain for. As a leader, one must be incredibly good at seeing the big picture and scope of things. This is simply because, as a leader, everything is one’s job and responsibility. People tend to have this skewed perception that being a leader means I can tell people what to do or I call all the shots. While this is true, it means that any obstacle or fallback ultimately falls on the leader in the end. With great power comes great responsibility, and not everyone is cut out for such a role. As someone who tends to be passive and a little withdrawn at times, being a leader would equate to exponential effort. It would not be an ideal cup of tea, and that’s okay. Everyone excels and thrives at different things. Some people are natural-born leaders, and it’s just how it is. Upon that, while everyone can lead and micromanage, not everyone can do it effectively.

Grudges are all-around a detriment. Not only do they eat one slowly from the inside, but it also causes a huge root of passive-aggressiveness. No matter the amount of silent hatred, it’ll hurt the person who holds it more than whatever is currently being resented. If anger must simmer, it should be a gradual phase, not a lifelong feeling to hold onto like a leech. Not to dismiss any past occurrences that may have caused the feeling of resentment. But it’s insanely unhealthy to let it dictate judgment and bitterness for the entirety of one’s lifetime. The simplest solution is to simply forgive but not forget. Therefore, one can move on, but their resentment doesn’t control them or make them potentially irate. We all hold grudges, but it’s how we heal from them that fully counts.

The favorite time of the day has to be the morning. In the morning, seeing the beautiful effervescent dawn and the birds chirp in a harmonious unison. Very soothing and pleasing to the ears, as it’s a great time for silent solace. The morning provides and treads with utmost silence. As the night signals the close of a chapter. The morning signals the start of a new beginning. Each morning erases past remnants and allows one to undo past mistakes or reflect. After all, they do not define us, and the morning allows us to start anew and simply be better.

Like is a very good example of an overused word. What is meant is not the word specifically, as in usage rather than how it is used. People nowadays use the word like to bridge gaps in knowledge to effectively express themselves. For example, if someone asks a person How are you feeling? A normal response would be I’m feeling good, maybe a little happy because of X or I’m feeling sad or even angry because of Y. But now in modern society, most average sentences hold the context as I feel like happy because, like I got a new job offer, or did you know like that a jaguar can crush a turtle shell. It’s used in context to the point where, in sentences, it is excessive usage that is not needed. But it’s a common habit amongst many. Not that like shouldn’t be used because it’s a common and very great word for comparisons. But it definitely has played a role in common everyday sentences and communication. Whether it’s for the better or for the worse.
